Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we don't, and what you can do about it.
The short version
We do not ask you for personal information, we have no accounts, no newsletter, and no comment system. There is nothing here to sign up for. Analytics only run if you explicitly accept them.
What we collect
Nothing, by default
On your first visit, no analytics load and no non-essential storage is written. A consent banner asks whether you accept analytics. If you choose "Essential only," nothing further is loaded and the only thing stored is that choice itself.
If you accept analytics
We load Google Analytics 4, configured with IP anonymisation on, Google Signals off, and ad personalisation off. It records which pages are visited, roughly where in the world from, and which affiliate links are clicked. It does not receive your name, email address, or any information you have not given us — and you have not given us any, because there is no form here that asks.
Server logs
This site is served by Cloudflare, which processes request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and block abuse. That is a technical necessity of serving a website. See Cloudflare's own privacy documentation for their retention practices.
Cookies and storage
See the cookie policy for the full list. Short version: onelocalStorage value recording your consent choice, plus Google Analytics cookies if and only if you accepted.
Amazon
Clicking a product link sends you to Amazon.com, which is a separate company with its own privacy policy and its own cookies. Once you land there, Amazon's terms govern. We receive aggregate commission reporting from Amazon — order counts and totals — never the identity of who bought what.
Your choices
- Refuse analytics: click "Essential only" on the banner. Nothing loads.
- Change your mind: clear this site's data in your browser and the banner returns.
- Block everything: any content blocker will stop the analytics script; the site works fine.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect nothing from them.
